So this is my second edit (please don’t kill me i’m still trying to figure PS out) just because I felt like doing one and this idea came to my mind: what if Javert only dreamt everything (the whole revolution and Valjean, etc) and nothing ever happened in his reality and he wakes up every night/morning directly after jumping down that bridge in his dream and he’s slowly going mad? Or maybe it’s a dream about a previous life or he lost his memory after jumping and surviving the jump and the memories are slowly coming back… I am curious what you’re thinking about it!
